Charity Dream Shanghai Volunteer       (July 2013)

Volunteered at the Shanghai Healing Home Volunteer, an orphanage that takes in abandoned and orphaned babies suffering from correctable deformities, and accumulated 26 hours of service and at the Learning Beyond Academy, a summer school that emphasizes the teaching of English, and accumulated 29 hours of service. I also acted as an international liaison by promoting the organization through communication and fundraising.

 

March of Dimes Volunteer and Organizer       (2011-present)

Planned, managed and executed volunteer projects that raised support for the March of Dimes, a national nonprofit organization that helps raise awareness about infant prematurity, aids in the care of mothers and babies, and funds and conducts research of prematurity, allowing me to accumulate 10 hours of service.


Girls Inc. Volunteer       (June-August 2012)

Volunteered as an assistant teacher at Girl Incorporated summer camp of the Greater Santa Barbara area in Goleta, California, a nonprofit organization that inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold through life-changing programs and experiences that help girls navigate gender, economic, and social barriers, allowing me to accumulate 96 hours of service.
